Overview

Panacea's updated password recovery system provides a secure self-service option to reset your password without administrator intervention. The process verifies your identity via email and follows security best practices to prevent unauthorized access.

How to Reset Your Password

Step 1: Initiate Password Reset

  1. Navigate to the Panacea login page

  2. Click "Forgot your password?" below the login fields

  3. Enter the email address associated with your account

  4. Click SEND INSTRUCTIONS

Step 2: Check Your Email

  • You'll receive a password reset email within 5 minutes (check spam/junk folders if not in inbox)

  • The email contains a secure, time-limited reset link (expires in 24 hours)

Security Note: If you didn't request this reset, contact our support immediately.

Step 3: Create a New Password

  1. Click the reset button in your email (opens in browser)

  2. Enter and confirm your new password

  3. Click Change my password

Step 4: Log In

  • Return to the login page

  • Enter your email and new password

  • If you enabled 2FA, complete the verification step

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the reset email:

  • Wait 5 minutes and check spam/junk folders

  • Verify you entered the correct email address

  • Contact Panacea support if still unresolved

My reset link expired:

  • Return to the login page and restart the process

I remember my old password now:

  • Simply log in normally - unused reset links automatically expire

Security Best Practices

  1. Never share passwords - Panacea staff will never ask for your password

  2. Use a password manager - Generate/store complex passwords securely

  3. Enable 2FA - Add an extra layer of protection (see [2FA guide])

  4. Update regularly - Change passwords every 3-6 months
