This document outlines the steps for integrating Vet Scan with Panacea.
Important: You will need to contact your Vet Scan representative to obtain your integration login details before proceeding.
Here are the steps for integrating Vet Scan with Panacea:
Go to the Integration Page:
Navigate to the integration page within your Panacea settings.
Settings > Clinics > Your clinic > Integrations
Add Vet Scan Integration:
Click the green plus button located next to the Vet Scan line to initiate the integration process.
Enter Login Details:
Input the login details provided by your Vet Scan representative.
Assign Species to Breeds:
Take a few minutes to map your species to corresponding breeds within the integration settings.
This is an important step to ensure that the correct tests are ordered on Vetscan and needs to be completed before you can use the integration
Click Edit on the species you wish to assign
Click Species
Select correct Species group
Click Save
Link Test Products:
In order to raise invoices correctly and not miss any lab billing you will need to sync the tests in the Vet Scan system to products in your Panacea system. There are two ways to perform this - either by creating a new product or linking it to one of your lab test products associated with your existing Panacea Supplier.
Creating a new lab test code:
In the Vet Scan Integration select the TESTS tab, this will supply you with a list of test options. These are the tests available in the Vet Scan system.
To sync a product to a listed test option select the test you want to use and;
click the green plus button to add a new test and accept the new details,
Linking to an existing Panacea lab test item
Click the edit (pencil) button to link it with a lab test product from an existing Panacea supplier. For example this would be a Vet Scan test that already exists in your system.
Congratulations - You have set up your tests profile in Panacea that is linked with the available tests in Vet Scan and you should now be ready to start to use your new IDEXX integration.
