Managing your debtors has never been easier. Panacea now has the facility to provide an online payment option for your customers via Xero.
This means less hassle sending invoices and statements and follow up debt collection.
It will also provide a means for billing and receiving payment in anticipation of your clinic providing services.
By sending an electronic invoice to your customer the payment of deposits in advance of procedures can be facilitated on the spot.
It can also ensure you receive payments for online consultations, prescription repeats etc prior to the scheduled time - this would ensure the payment was not avoided by the customer and would also reduce the likelihood of missed appointments and collections.
Xero Integration
This document outlines the steps for integrating and utilizing Xero's Pay Now feature.
Ensure your Xero account is properly integrated with your system. Verify that the connection is active and data is syncing correctly.
Pay Now on Xero
The Pay Now option allows customers to directly pay invoices using their online banking and credit cards. This feature streamlines the payment process and reduces processing time.
Edit Invoice Layout
To enable the Pay Now option to show on your Panacea invoices, you need to make a few modifications to your invoice layout. Follow these steps:
Navigate to the invoice template settings in your Panacea account.
Select the invoice template you wish to edit.
Enter the editing mode for the template.
Add Xero Pay Now Variable
Within the invoice template editing mode, add the Xero Pay Now variable. This variable generates the Xero payment link onto the Panacea invoice.
Locate the position in the invoice where you want to place the Pay Now link.
Insert the variable code {INVOICE_XERO_PAY_NOW_BUTTON} for the Xero Pay Now link.
Save the changes to the invoice template.
Example: “To make your payments easily online click this link 'Paynow link” {INVOICE_XERO_PAY_NOW_BUTTON}
Edit Email Template
In addition to invoices, the Pay Now link can also be included in the body of the email notifications that are sent with the attached invoice. Edit the email template as follows:
Go to the email settings in your Panacea account.
Choose the email template related to invoice notifications.
Enter the editing mode for the email template.
Add Xero Pay Now Variable
Add the Xero Pay Now variable to the email template to include the payment link in the email.
Find the area in the email template where you want to insert the Pay Now link.
Insert the correct variable code for the Xero Pay Now link.
Save the modifications to the email template.
