We're excited to announce a significant enhancement to Panacea with the introduction of LABS services integration. This new feature aims to streamline laboratory workflows for veterinary clinics, making it easier than ever to manage lab tests and results within your practice management system.
LABS Services Integration
Our latest release enables LABS services for all clinics, currently supporting two major laboratory service providers: IDEXX and VetScan. This integration allows you to seamlessly incorporate lab testing into your Panacea workflow, enhancing efficiency and patient care.
Key features of the LABS integration include:
Activation under the clinic's integration tab
Up-to-date list of orderable tests from providers
Creation of clinic products into your Panacea system based on available tests
Order management through Panacea's user interface
Tracking of results and order history
Linking of results the each patient's clinical history
Viewing, sending, and downloading results as PDF
To activate the integration, users will need login credentials provided by their chosen lab service provider (IDEXX or VetScan).
Please Note: This release is currently in beta. While we've worked hard to ensure a smooth experience, you may encounter some limitations or edge case errors. For example, at present, users can only view results as PDFs from the provider. We plan to introduce our own view with additional features in future updates.

New INVOICE_XERO_PAY_NOW_BUTTON template variable
We’re thrilled to announce a powerful addition to your invoicing toolkit: the new INVOICE_XERO_PAY_NOW_BUTTON variable. This feature allows you to seamlessly include a "Pay Now" button, powered by Xero, in your invoice templates—whether sent via email or generated as a PDF. The button redirects recipients to the corresponding Xero-hosted invoice, where payment options are conveniently available.
Key Details:
To enable this feature, users must first activate the "Pay Now" functionality in Xero.
Supported payment methods must be added in Xero to ensure the button is displayed.
If no payment methods are configured or the "Pay Now" feature is unavailable, the button will not appear.
This update enhances the payment process, offering your clients a smoother and more efficient way to settle invoices.
